Three people sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 9:45 a.m. Saturday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dakota Plemmons, 18, of Chilhowee, was driving east on state Route 2 at state Route 13 when he failed to yield to a southbound vehicle driven by William G. Bailey, 55, of Knob Noster. Bailey was unable to avoid striking Plemmons’ vehicle.
Bailey was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for his injuries. Plemmons and a passenger in his vehicle, Dallas Ratliff, 17, of Chilhowee, were also taken to WMMC.
Reports indicate all involved were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
