Two Marshall teenagers sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Saline County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lorin P. King, 16, was driving north on King Avenue, about 500 feet west of 195th Road, when she lost control of the vehicle. It overturned into the ditch.
King and a passenger in her vehicle, Emily L. Rogers, 15, were both taken by private vehicle to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for their injuries.
Reports indicate both King and Rogers were not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol and Sedalia Police Department reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
