Sedalia woman injured in crash
A Sedalia woman sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 1:45 p.m. Thursday in Pettis County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Michelle N. Ridenour, 44, was driving south on U.S. Highway 5, south of Glazebrook Road, when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a fence.
Ridenour, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center for her injuries.
Two Life Flighted after crash
Two people sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 4:05 p.m. Thursday in Henry County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Randi J. Corkey, 55, of Almond, New York, was driving east on state Route 7, west of SE 1101 Road, when she made a left turn in front of a westbound vehicle driven by Mary K. Twidwell, 53, of Clinton, and was struck in the passenger side.
Twidwell was taken by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, and Corkey was taken by Life Flight to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.
Reports indicate both Twidwell and Corkey were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Four injured in Benton crash
Four people were injured in a single-vehicle accident at 11:15 p.m. Thursday in Benton County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sophe L. King, 29, of Kansas City, was driving north on U.S. Highway 65, 43 feet north of Harvest Road, when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a tree and a fence. It then overturned, coming to rest on its wheels.
King and two passengers, Stefen L. Tatium, 30, of Kansas City, and Anntronette L. Williams, 38, also of Kansas City, were all taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
A third passenger, Ronald E. Mathews, 41, of Kansas City, was also taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Reports indicate King, Tatium and Williams were all wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, but Mathews was not.
