Sept. 6
2:17 p.m.: Rhonda M. Campbell, 53, of the 2800 block of South Ingram Avenue, was arrested in the 400 block of South Ohio Avenue on charges of receiving stolen property and driving with a suspended license. An officer driving through downtown Sedalia ran the license plate of a vehicle in front of him, which came back as a stolen vehicle. SPD dispatch confirmed the vehicle had been reported stolen. The officer conducted a traffic stop and made contact with two female occupants. After a brief investigation, the driver was arrested and the passenger was released.
7:35 p.m.: Patrick Neil Kreisel, 48, of the 1100 block of South Harding Avenue, was arrested at his residence on a charge of third degree domestic assault. Officers responded to a disturbance. They met with the victim and the suspect and the victim had a cut on their head.
8:40 p.m.: Jackson Lane Mullins, 25, of the 4000 block of Par Five Drive, was arrested near the intersection of Limit Avenue and West 14th Street on a charge of driving while intoxicated. As an officer was southbound on Limit Avenue, he clocked a northbound vehicle driving 56 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone. The officer was able to turn around and catch up to the vehicle at the Broadway Boulevard intersection. The vehicle then turned west and pulled into a parking lot near the Sunset Avenue intersection. The officer made contact with the driver, who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. After further investigation and field sobriety tests were taken, the suspect was taken into custody. A breath test was administered and the suspect was taken to the Pettis County Jail.

Sept. 6
8:12 a.m.: Three tires were reported flattened on a vehicle in the 1700 block of South Warren Avenue.
1:14 p.m.: A gold pendant diamond necklace, valued at $1,900, was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of West 10th Street over the last few days. A suspect was interviewed but the necklace was not found.
5:41 p.m.: A caller reported that someone was “camping” at the rear of a business’s property in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard near the stormwater run-off. The responding officer contacted management who pointed out a tent set up near the south of the store. The officer checked it and found it unoccupied. Another employee advised they found the original case inside the store. The tent, valued at $49.97, had apparently been taken earlier in the day and set up outside.

10:42 p.m.: Kaleb M. Salmon, 19, of Blue Springs, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
