Woman hurt in Johnson wreck
A Warrensburg woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 3:23 p.m. Monday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Takia R. Jackson, 18, was driving east on state Route BB, four-tenths of a mile east of SW 200 County Road, when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.
Jackson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.
Centerview teen injured in crash
A Centerview teenager was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 3:45 p.m. Monday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Leah L. Faulkenberry, 16, was driving west on County Road NW 700, one-tenth of a mile east of state Route M, when she lost control of her vehicle, which traveled off the left side of the road. The vehicle then struck a ditch, overturned and struck a fence.
Faulkenberry, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence with minor injuries.
Man seriously injured in Benton
A Grain Valley man sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 8:45 p.m. Monday in Benton County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jason D. Hattey, 38, was driving an ATV north on Bent Tree Drive at Leisure Drive when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and struck a ditch, ejecting Hattey.
Hattey, who was not using a safety device, was taken by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for his injuries.
Stover woman hurt in Morgan
A Stover woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 11:49 a.m. Tuesday in Morgan County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lloyd J. Wright, 44, of Stover, was driving south on Ivy Bend Road and Walnut Hills Road when he made a left turn and turned into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by Alexa M. Bartlett, 21, of Stover.
A passenger in Wright’s vehicle, Roeanna L. Wright, 34, was taken by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach with minor injuries.
Reports indicate Lloyd, Roeanna and Bartlett were all wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
