This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

May 19

2:14 p.m.: Enrique D. Mitchell, 26, of the 300 block of West Sixth Street, was issued a municipal court summons in the 600 block of North Ohio Avenue for stealing. The suspect allegedly stole a pack of cigarettes from a business.

May 24

8:41 a.m.: Dylan W. Landon, 28, no address given, was arrested in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing. The suspect allegedly stole $18.73 worth of goods from a business.

6:41 p.m.: Tammy M. Litovchenko, 23, of the 2700 block of South Lafayette Avenue, was arrested in the 4300 block of Wisconsin Drive on a charge of stealing. The suspect allegedly selected items, valued at $32, from the business and left without paying.

Incidents

May 24

11:30 a.m.: A female subject reported she saw a male suspect masturbating while sitting in his car in a business parking lot in the 4100 block of West Broadway Boulevard. The suspect’s vehicle was parked next to the female’s vehicle.

Arrests

May 24

3:16 p.m.: Michael E. Powell, 20, of Florissant, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and failure to obey a stop sign.

May 25

9:11 a.m.: Patrick L. Heiland, 44, of Centertown, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of failure to comply with ignition interlock device, driving a commercial vehicle with a revoked license, no seat belt, and several Failure to Appear warrants for traffic violations.
