LATE WEEKEND RESULTS
Crest Ridge 7, Cole Camp 4
Both starters went the distance in a 7-4 Crest Ridge victory over Cole Camp at the Cole Camp Classic Saturday in Cole Camp.
Kendall Shearer took the loss for the Bluebirds allowing 14 hits and seven runs in seven innings. He struck out four.
Brady Theisen was 2-3 at the plate with two RBIs. Holt Wroten also had a multi-hit game with two doubles, and Kyle Chamberlain scored twice.
Pilot Grove 6, Cole Camp 1
Cole Camp scored one run on six hits Saturday in a 6-1 home loss to Pilot Grove.
Brady Theisen allowed six runs – three earned— with five strikeouts in six innings.
Jordan Farrar and Kendrick Logan had two hits apiece. Holt Wroten drove in the only Cole Camp run in the fifth.
Lincoln 5, Pilot Grove 4
Lincoln topped Pilot Grove 5-4 Saturday at the Cole Camp Classic with two runs in the seventh and one run in the eighth.
Reese Corbin started for Lincoln and allowed four runs in five innings. He struck out five and walked three. Connor Spunaugle pitched three innings in relief, allowing one hit and striking out five.
Lincoln 13, Crest Ridge 2
Lincoln plated 10 runs in the fifth inning Saturday to beat Crest Ridge 13-2 at the Cole Camp Classic.
Corbin Mertgen tossed six innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out nine.
The Cardinal offense collected 14 hits and six walks. Mason Sanders was 2-3 with 3 RBIS, a walk and a triple. Mertgen also had 3 RBIs going 4-5.
Lincoln 21, Osceola 1
Lincoln topped Osceola 21-1 in five innings Saturday at the Cole Camp Classic.
The Cardinals scored 12 runs in the third inning and five in the fourth.
Mason Sanders and Sam Hinrich combined for five innings on the mound, allowing a combined two hits.

BOYS GOLF
Logan-Rogersville wins Smith-Cotton Classic
One stroke separated Logan-Rogersville and runner-up Pembroke Hill Monday at the Smith-Cotton Classic at Sedalia Country Club.
Logan-Rogersville finished with a team score of 306. Warrensburg earned third place shooting a 313.
The Smith-Cotton tigers fired a team score of 330. Jackson Kempton and Kendall Weymuth each shot an 82 on the day.
Sacred Heart finished with a team total of 353. Chris Mergen was the low man with an 82. Will Prenger followed two strokes behind Mergen.
HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL
Crest Ridge 3, La Monte 2
La Monte softball suffered their first loss Monday at the hands of Crest Ridge 3-2.
Madison Harris struck out seven, walked two and allowed 11 hits in a complete-game performance.
Kaylee Schmidli went frame-for-frame with Harris in the circle for Crest Ridge. She struck out 10, allowing eight hits and two walks.
Sandra Arroyo was 2-3 with a triple. Harris had both Lady Viking RBIs in the fourth and sixth innings.
