Arrests

April 8

6:14 p.m.: Walter Lee Ford, 30, no address given, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Stewart Avenue on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers responded to the area for a subject check. The subject was located and he handed the officer a black case with methamphetamine residue.

April 9

6:32 p.m.: Terrell L. Peck, 36, of the 1000 block of East Third Street, was arrested in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard on a charge of public peace disturbance. Officers responded to a report of a physical disturbance at a business. The fight was broken up, but one suspect continued trying to incite violence out of the other subjects and yelling obscenities in the middle of the parking lot.

Incidents

April 8

9:45 p.m.: A cell phone was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in a business parking lot in the 3000 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

10:21 p.m.: Multiple unspecified items, valued at $515.99, were reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of East Seventh Street.

April 9

6:23 p.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported in a business parking lot in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard.

Arrests

April 10

1:20 a.m.: Sallie I. Welch, 45, of Bolivar, was arrested in Henry County on charges of driving while intoxicated, no insurance and failure to register a motor vehicle.
