Woman injured in Pettis crash

A Cole Camp woman sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 7:25 a.m. Thursday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Angela M. McCloud, 19, was driving west on state Route V at Spring Fork Road when she crested a hill and lost control on the icy road. Her vehicle then traveled off the left side of the road, overturned on the road and then slid into the right-side ditch.

McCloud, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Cole Camp Ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for her injuries.

Mora man seriously injured

A Mora man sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Richard A. Sprouse, 48, was driving west on state Route V, east of Gardenia Drive, when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and struck a warning sign, a ditch and several trees before coming to rest.

Sprouse, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for his injuries.

Man injured in Morgan wreck

A Gravois Mills man sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 10:45 p.m. Thursday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jeremy S. Callen, 31, was driving south on Ottersway Road, one-tenth of a mile south of Zenna Road, when he failed to negotiate a curve. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Callen, who was wearing a seat belt, was flown to University Hospital in Columbia for his injuries.
