The Tipton Lady Cardinals barely edged out the Chamois Lady Pirates in a 30-28 win Thursday night in the semi-final of the Tipton Tournament.
The Lady Cardinals went into halftime leading 20-14.
Tipton was led by senior point guard Destiny Dowell with 10 points, six steals and four assists. She also scored her 1,000th career point during the game. Junior guard Allison Brant added eight points to the final score.
The Lady Cardinals will face either New Bloomfield or Jamestown in the championship game Saturday.
