The State Fair Community College Men’s Basketball Team suffered a tough road loss Tuesday night in Council Bluffs, Iowa, falling to the Iowa Western Community College Reivers 101-88.
The Roadrunners were down by only two points in the first half trailing 42-40 before the Reivers outscored SFCC by 11 points to put the game away in the second half.
The game saw 11 lead changes. At one point, late in the second half, Iowa Western had a 18 point lead on SFCC (96-78).
Iowa Western had five players in double digits, led by Isaiah Walton with 19. Think Bol and Marquel Beasley each added 12.
Ronnie Rouseau had 33 points for the Roadrunners shooting 10/20 in field goals and 4/9 from three point range. Willie Jimerson added 16 points.
State Fair (11-2) next plays at home at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 9 against Southeastern Community College at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the SFCC campus.
