Nov. 30
8:30 a.m.: Davy Joe Rasa, 24, of the 300 block of South Engineer Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of South Vermont Avenue and West 23rd Street on charges of driving with a revoked/suspended license, careless driving, resisting arrest, identity theft, operating after dark without lights, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of synthetic narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested after SPD officers conducted a traffic stop on Rasa’s vehicle. He was asked to step away from the vehicle so a search could be performed, and he fled from the scene and was pursued by officers.
Incidents
Nov. 30
1:43 p.m.: A Coleman kerosene heater, JVC stereo system and a Zenith TV were reported stolen from a residence in the 500 block of South Engineer Avenue.
6:20 p.m.: A subject reportedly kicked in the front door of a residence in the 1200 block of South Lamine Avenue and stole a laptop.
