Who’s back: Trenton Johnson, all-Kaysinger point guard who has averaged 15 ppg last year and shot over 80 percent from the free throw line in three years with the Greyhounds; Jakob Erdmann, senior forward who averaged 8 ppg, 4 rpg last year; Josh Nichols, senior shooting guard who averaged 7 ppg last year and shot 40 percent from 3-point range; Jonathan Schuler, senior guard.
Who’s new: Camden Allee, sophomore forward expected to be a solid rebounder and post defender; Carlton Fowler, sophomore guard, solid perimeter defender; Blake Clancy, junior forward who can score around the rim; Cole Paxton, brings toughness to the front-court; Tanner Golden, junior forward who can crash the boards; Jack Daugherty, junior guard.
Who’s gone: Kyle Houts, Quinten Rainner, Billy Guffey
Outlook: Windsor can rely on experience, especially in the back-court. “These kids have played together for the past three seasons at the varsity level and have started to figure out the little things it takes to win ball games,” said coach Brent Behler. “Our backcourt should also be solid defensively.
“We’ve struggled giving up second chance points and protecting the paint with the lack of size in our front court the last couple seasons. Hopefully we should see some improvement in those areas with the younger kids coming up, and the experience with our returning players.”
