Local attorney James B. Rice Jr. was recently honored at the annual meeting of the Missouri Bar Association hosted in St. Louis. Chief Justice of the Missouri Supreme Court Patricia Breckenridge and President of the Missouri Bar Reuben Shelton presented the award for 50 years of service to the profession to Rice. Rice, whose office is located at 701 S. Ohio Ave., has been at that location for 40 years and is still an active trail attorney.
