Mr. and Mrs. Randy Silvey will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a dinner hosted by their children in Kansas City on Sept. 12.
Arlene Koechner and Randy Silvey were married Sept. 12, 1975 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sedalia with the Rev. Vincent Hoying officiating.
Mr. Silvey retired in 1997, with 24 years of service from the Sedalia Police Department. Mrs. Silvey retired in 2014 with 18 years of service from the State of Missouri. She currently serves as the city clerk for the City of Sedalia.
The couple have three children, Jennifer (Dave) Constine, of Kansas City, Chris Silvey, of Raytown, and Andrew (Nicole) Selvey, of Cole Camp; and three grandchildren.
