This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

Sept. 9

6:05 p.m.: David J. Bennett, 41, no address given, was arrested in the 2800 block of West Broadway Boulevard on charges of possession of a controlled substance in a county jail and possession of a controlled substance.

6:05 p.m.: William Ray Ash Jr., 38, of the 28000 block of McGee Road, was arrested in the 2800 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

6:20 p.m.: Jordan Vernell Cunningham, 28, of the 1500 block of South Grand Avenue, was arrested at his residence on charges of driving with a revoked license, resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child.

11:48 p.m.: Adam L. Kettle, 39, of the 2400 block of Greenwood Lane, was arrested in the 2600 block of North Woodlawn Drive on charges of first degree domestic assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

Incidents

Sept. 9

7:01 a.m.: An address book containing $500 in cash was reported stolen from a residence in the 1500 block of West Fourth Street.

6:59 p.m.: Someone reportedly shot out multiple windows and a door at a residence in the 800 block of West Seventh Street.

Sept. 10

6:50 a.m.: A small dark-colored passenger vehicle drove away from a business in the 3000 block of South Limit Avenue without paying for 13.39 gallons of gas.

11:22 a.m.: A check was stolen in the 1600 block of East Broadway Boulevard and used for $28.97 at a business in Sedalia.

Arrests

Sept. 9

10:11 p.m.: Chance L. Woods, 55, of Houston, Texas, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of failure to drive on the right half of the road, operating a vehicle without a valid license and driving while intoxicated.
