Hit-and-run accident injures one
A Warrensburg man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday in Pettis County.
Zachary T. Bradley, 21, was driving east on U.S. Highway 50 at Granny Lane. He was slowing the vehicle to access the turn lane when an unknown driver’s vehicle struck the rear of Bradley’s vehicle, causing it to block the turn lane. The driver of the second vehicle continued eastbound, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Bradley, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Driver suffers serious injuries
A Warrensburg man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday in Johnson County.
Borbin T. Garry, 21, was driving east on U.S. Highway 50, five-tenths of a mile from state Route 131, when his vehicle experienced an equipment failure. The vehicle began to slide before overturning. It then struck the towed unit of a vehicle operated by Kenneth W. Nesladaek, 52, of West Point, Nebraska, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Reports indicate both men were wearing seat belts. Garry was transported by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Vehicle accident injures driver
A Warsaw woman was injured in a vehicle accident at 8:38 a.m. Tuesday in Benton County.
Dolores R. Pyeatt, 57, was driving a vehicle east on state Route BB, 68 feet east of Woodland Road, when the vehicle traveled off the road. Pyeatt over-corrected, causing her vehicle to travel off the roadway a second time and overturn before coming to rest on its top, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Pyeatt, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported by Warsaw/Lincoln Ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare for treatment of moderate injuries.
