This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Oct. 25

12:55 p.m.: Brandon L. Fernandez, 22, was issued a municipal court summons near the intersection of West Ninth Street and South Prospect Avenue for littering.

Oct. 27

2:58 p.m.: Kevin Allen Murray, 34, of the 200 block of West Fifth Street, was arrested at his residence on a charge of second degree domestic assault.

Oct. 28

11:23 a.m.: Christopher Lee Ford, 40, of the 800 block of Brentwood, was arrested in the 800 block of South Marvin Avenue on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

Oct. 29

7:03 p.m.: Richard B. Waters, 54, of the 200 block of West 11th Street, was arrested in the 400 block of East Third Street on charges of trespassing and failure to obey.

Oct. 30

6:52 a.m.: Joshua A. Shull, 23, of the 1700 block of East Seventh Street, was arrested near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Crockett Avenue on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Oct. 27

12:10 p.m.: A wallet was reported lost or stolen at a business in the 800 block of South Limit Avenue. The credit cards inside have been used for $971.80 worth of fraudulent purchases.

Oct. 28

10:15 a.m.: A brown leather wallet, including a debit card, was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of North Missouri Avenue. The card was used for $84 worth of fraudulent purchases.

3:50 p.m.: A female subject reportedly stole a bottle of Absolut vodka, valued at $34.99, from a business in the 100 block of East Broadway Boulevard on Wednesday. She was described as a thin, black, pregnant female with a facial tattoo. The same female reportedly stole a bottle of Seagram’s gin, valued at $18.99, from the business Thursday.

Oct. 29

3:31 p.m.: A subject reportedly forced entry into a residence in the 400 block of East Chestnut Street and unspecified items were reported missing.

3:33 p.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Massachusetts Avenue. A gray Dodge Dakota driven by a male subject reportedly side-swiped two vehicles as he changed lanes.

8:18 p.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Tiger Pride Boulevard.

8:32 p.m.: Three males reportedly stole a tablet cover, valued at $39.88, from a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

9:56 p.m.: A 2008 black Pontiac G6 missing two rear hubcaps was reported stolen from a business parking lot in the 700 block of West 16th Street.

11:40 p.m.: Subjects reportedly completed a meal, valued at $78.70, at a business in the 3300 block of West Broadway Boulevard and left without attempting to pay.

6 a.m.: A driver reported struck a stop sign near the intersection of West 32nd Street and Grand Avenue and left the scene.

12:21 p.m.: A black Samsung Galaxy Avant was reported stolen after it was left at a residence near the intersection of West Sixth Street and South Grand Avenue.

Incidents

Oct. 28

4:07 p.m.: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 100 block of Villa Drive in Sedalia.

4:08 p.m.: Property damage was reported in the 300 block of East 36th Street in Sedalia.

4:57 p.m.: Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported in the 1900 block of South Ingram Avenue in Sedalia.

Oct. 29

7:55 a.m.: A burglary was reported at a business in the 10000 block of state Route 52 in Windsor. Several employees found the back door open and several tools, valued at $1,500, were missing.
