Employees of Sedalia’s new PetSmart store walk the store’s mascot, Chance, out the front doors Saturday for the Grand Opening ribbon cutting ceremony. Store Manager Michael Petrucci cut the ribbon and welcomed a line of customers and pets inside to shop at the store, 4311 Wisconsin Ave. Petrucci was joined by Tiffani Youtzy, of Sedalia, and her service dog Maia during the ribbon cutting.

The store relocated from the strip mall just down the street on Broadway Boulevard.

A long line forms a little after 8 a.m. Saturday at the new Dollar General Store on West Broadway Boulevard. The first 50 adult shoppers received a $10 Dollar General gift card and the first 200 shoppers received a Dollar General tote bag with complimentary product samples.
