Arrests
June 19
1:54 p.m.: James Darrel Yount, 22, of the 300 block of North Hill Street, was arrested near the intersection of East Fifth Street and South Engineer Avenue on a charge of possession of marijuana. An officer recognized a pedestrian with an active municipal warrant. The suspect was arrested and during a search the officer found a baggie of marijuana in the suspect’s pocket. He was issued a $50 cash-only bond for the warrant at the Pettis County Jail.
4:45 p.m.: Eric Curtis Wells, 33, no address given, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing. LaTara Elaine Buckner, 27, no address given, was arrested on charges of stealing, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A business reported two suspects stole several food items. The complainant said he gave the suspects the chance to pay for the items, valued at $6.89, and they did not. Both were later located and arrested. The female was found in possession of a controlled substance.
10:29 p.m.: Shawn Bradley Bosworth, 34, of the 300 block of West 10th Street, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Kentucky Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and identity theft.
June 20
8:10 a.m.: Brittany Elizabeth Garrigus, 26, of the 1300 block of East 13th Street, was issued a municipal court summons in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for stealing. A business reported a theft. The loss prevention officer said she witnessed the suspect taking items and placing them in her purse. The suspect attempted to leave the store without paying when the LPO stopped her. The suspect admitted the theft to the officer.
8:19 a.m.: Lonnie Richard Thompson, 48, of the 300 block of East Saline Street, was arrested near the intersection of East Boonville Road and North Hurley Avenue on charges of second degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. An officer responded to a report of an active disturbance where the suspect was armed with a hammer. Upon officer arrival, the suspect had fled. The victim said the suspect threatened her with a hammer and punched her in the eye. The suspect was later located in the area.
11:31 a.m.: Eric Allen Monsees, 48, no address given, was arrested in the 1200 block of South Limit Avenue on charges of unlawful possession of a concealable firearm, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. An officer went to a business to conduct a warrant check. A search of the suspect’s room revealed a firearm, a needle with methamphetamine residue, a prescription pill and marijuana. Dispatch confirmed the suspect’s parole violation warrant.

8:51 a.m.: Thomas A. Burrows, 59, of Versailles, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.
