Arrests
May 30
4:11 a.m.: Alexander Luis Astocaza, 30, of the 1200 block of West 29th Street, and Ian Paul Hartt, 22, of the 300 block of West 24th Street, were both arrested near the intersection of 14th Street and Collins Avenue on a charge of second degree trespassing. A caller reported seeing two men in their neighbor’s vehicle in the 800 block of East 12th Street. Upon officer arrival, the suspects had left the area. The officer saw the suspects get in a van on 12th Street, then ran from the officer. They were located near 14th Street and Collins Avenue.
11:18 a.m.: Maria S. Lowe, 35, of the 200 block of South Ohio Avenue, was arrested in the 200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving with a revoked license.
2 p.m.: Brian Keith Johnson Jr., 29, no address given, was arrested in the 1600 block of South Harrison Avenue on charges of third degree domestic assault and driving with a revoked license. Officers responded to a report of a physical disturbance. A female victim said the suspect drove around looking for her, then punched her in the stomach and spit on her.

May 18
8 a.m.: SPD was contacted by the Pettis County Children’s Division regarding an alleged child abuse case in the 400 block of Wilkerson Street.
May 30
12:38 p.m.: A concrete statue of an Army soldier kneeling with a cross, valued at $50, was reported stolen overnight from the front yard of a residence in the 500 block of South Quincy Avenue. The victim said the statue was for her deceased son who was in the military.
11:15 p.m.: A victim reported someone shot a BB gun at her front window in the 500 block of West Fifth Street, causing an estimated $200 in damage.
11:57 p.m.: A large disturbance with weapons was reported at Centennial Park, 1500 E. 16th St. Upon arrival the officer made contact with a large number of people involved. One juvenile was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and peace disturbance. The juvenile was released to their parents and charges were referred to the Pettis County Juvenile Office.
