Three arrested after warrant served

Deputies with the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office along with officers from the Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force arrested three people Thursday on various drug and gun charges after serving a knock and announce warrant.

The officers served the warrant at 416 North Grand Avenue, entered the property, detained five people and located several stolen guns that were reported stolen out of Pettis County, methamphetamine, marijuana, and evidence of methamphetamine being packaged for distribution.

Two infants were also at the residence.

Michael B. Hicks, 22, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.

Amber M. Lawson, 32, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Nathan Snyder, 33, was arrested on charges of stealing and receiving stolen property.

The children were placed in the custody of the Division of Family Services.
