Larry Reven said approximately 2,000 flags would be placed at three Sedalia cemeteries Saturday. He added that VFW member Glenn Glidewell also placed eight flags at the Jewish Cemetery on South Grand Avenue.

Sgt. Thomas Bush and members of Smith-Cotton JROTC walk through Crown Hill Cemetery Saturday morning placing flags on military veterans’ graves. Bush said this year the program had 50 students volunteering at Crown Hill, 30 at Memorial Park Cemetery and 10 at Highland Sacred Gardens.
