Pettis County Early Childhood Co-operative recognizes graduates Monday

Heliana Zaragoza proudly says “thank you” after receiving her certificate at the Pettis County Early Childhood Co-op End of Year Celebration Monday afternoon in the Sedalia Middle School gymnasium. More than 100 students were awarded certificates for completing the program. As part of the graduation ceremony each student was taught how to shake hands and say “thank you.” The Co-op serves children who are 3- to 5-years-old throughout Pettis County.

Liam and his twin brother Lukas Foote both graduated from the program Monday. The children performed two songs, “You are my Sunshine” and “Mr. Golden Sun,” for their invited guests who filled the bleachers at the Sedalia Middle School during the ceremony.
