The following is a sampling of cases that were resolved May 1 during Law Day in the Pettis County Circuit Court.
Alexander Logan, 19, of Sedalia, was sentenced to two seven-year terms and five four-year terms in the Missouri Department of Corrections after pleading guilty on five separate matters — four counts of stealing and one count of fraudulent use of a credit device — and two probation violation cases that were also related to stealing.
Ronnie Cantrell, 54, of Sedalia, was sentenced to terms of 10 and seven years in the Department of Corrections under 217.362 after pleading guilty on two separate matters — first degree burglary and a probation violation.
Travis Garrett, 38, of Sedalia, was sentenced to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for forgery.
Austin S. Gruber, 20, of Sedalia, was sentenced to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections under 217.362 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Zachariah Cameron Sparks, 27, of Sedalia, was sentenced to four three-year sentences in the Department of Corrections on four separate matters — two counts of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), one count of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm.
Kayden E. Rasmussen, 19, of Sedalia, was sentenced to concurrent five-year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections after his probation was revoked.
Jeremy M. Lawson, 32, of Sedalia, was sentenced to concurrent two-year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections for driving with a revoked license and resisting arrest.
Amy Wood, 34, of Sedalia, was sentenced to 120 days in the Pettis County Jail for stealing.
