The UCM Mules got their fifth straight win Saturday, blowing out Northeastern State 54-10 in the Homecoming game.
The Mules are now third in the MIAA with a 6-2 record, behind 8-0 Northwest Missouri and 7-1 Emproia State.
The Mules were able to run all over the RiverHawks, running it 52 times for 352 yards and a touchdown.
Markel Smith had 149 yards on 21 carries and a touchdown. Rodney Smith added 56 yards on 11 carries.
Garrett Fugate went 14-of-20 for 207 yards and two touchdowns. He was removed from the game as a precaution after an injury.
Eric Siebenshuh came in and completed 6-of-8 for 92 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
Third-string quarterback Brook Bolles completed a two-yard touchdown pass.
Tight end Ian Toalson had four catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns.
Jaylen Zachery caught four passes for 73 yards and also had a 79-yard punt return for a score.
Jason Venckus, Taylor Triphinue, Josh Powell and Austin Miller each had a sack for UCM.
The Mules had four interceptions. Miller, Jackson Newman, Monteze Latimore and Kenny Mings each had an interception.
UCM will play at Lindenwood (3-5) at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
