


Three people were arrested Thursday on drug-related charges after Sedalia Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop.
According to a Sedalia Police Department STING Unit news release, at 2:10 p.m. SPD officers conducted a traffic stop on a green Honda passenger car in the 2400 block of West Broadway Boulevard. Detectives with the Drug Enforcement Unit responded to assist.
There were four adults in the vehicle, who were all detained. One subject attempted to flee from the car, while a second subject threw drug contraband from the car. Computer checks revealed two subjects had active warrants.
A search of the subjects and the vehicle revealed methamphetamine, marijuana, drug packaging materials/supplies and drug paraphernalia.
Three of the adults were arrested and one was released without charges.
Jeffrey R. Miller, 51, of the 1800 block of South Osage Avenue, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He is at the Pettis County Jail on a $250,000 bond, cash or surety. A hearing has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the release, Miller was also arrested for a parole absconder warrant with no bond and a Pettis County warrant for possession of methamphetamine with a $100,000 bond.
Anjelica Sue Walker, 25, of the 1000 block of South Vermont Avenue, has been charged with distribution of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. She is at the Pettis County Jail on a $100,000 bond, cash or surety. According to the release, she was also arrested for a parole absconder warrant with no bond.
Garrett C. Green, 25, of the 1200 block of East 18th Street, has been charged with unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He is at the Pettis County Jail on a $1,500 bond, cash or surety.
