Arrests
April 17
6:32 p.m.: Heather M. McClellan, 34, of the 700 block of South State Fair Boulevard, was arrested near the intersection of East 16th Street and South Ohio Avenue on charges of forgery, failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to register annually with the Department of Revenue. A traffic stop was conducted and investigation revealed the license plates were forged.
10:40 p.m.: Seth A. Farr, 24, of the 1500 block of South Vermont Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of West 15th Street and South Stewart Avenue on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A traffic stop was conducted for a vehicle with a broken tail light. A search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine.
11:52 p.m.: Charles Shaw, 56, no address given, was arrested in the 400 block of East Second Street on charges of first degree burglary, second degree property damage, stealing and possession of a controlled substance. Officers responded to a burglary report and received a suspect description from the caller. Officers located the suspect a short time later.

10:35 p.m.: A SKS rifle, valued at $400, was reported stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of State Fair Boulevard.

10:06 p.m.: Jamie Wendel, of the 2600 block of Dogwood Court, was arrested at his residence on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and outstanding Pettis County warrants with bond set at $60,000.

9:08 p.m.: A Husky was reported stolen from a residence in the 2600 block of Dogwood Court in Sedalia.
April 17
11:39 a.m.: A white 2002 GMC dually truck was reported stolen from a residence in the 700 block of Southwood in Sedalia.

4:17 p.m.: Dewey R. Burris, 41, of Versailles, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a revoked license, displaying license plates of another, no seat belt and no insurance.
