Holden woman hurt in accident

A Holden woman sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 8:33 a.m. Saturday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Whitney D. Palmer, 27, was driving south in the 800 block of NW state Route Z when she fell asleep. Her vehicle traveled off the road and struck a culvert. The vehicle became airborne and struck the ground, coming to rest in a private driveway.

Palmer, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Lee’s Summit Medical Center for her injuries.

Man hurt in Morgan crash

A Camdenton man sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 11:28 a.m. Saturday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sean J. Maher, 51, was driving north on state Route W, about 260 feet south of Hollow Drive, when his motorcycle struck a deer. Maher was ejected.

Maher, who was wearing a helmet, was taken by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City for his injuries.

Woman hurt in Moniteau

A California, Missouri, woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 3:32 a.m. Monday in Moniteau County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Alexandra K. Irvin, 31, was driving west on Lookout Trail, about 300 feet east of Henley Lake Road, when her vehicle traveled off the left side of the road, over an embankment and struck a ditch.

Irvin, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City with minor injuries.
