This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

April 14

6:24 p.m.: Sharon E. Duncan, 35, of the 600 block of West Broadway Boulevard in Sedalia, was arrested in the 800 block of West Third Street on a charge of public peace disturbance.

9: 14 p.m.: April Louise Smasal, 46, of the 27000 block of Smasal Road in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of East 11th Street and South Massachusetts

Avenue on charges of distributing, delivery and manufacturing of methamphetamine, possession of synthetic narcotics, possession of other dangerous drugs, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

April 15

2:32 a.m.: Michael James Sieger, of the 500 block of South Quincy Avenue in Sedalia, was arrested in the 1500 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving while intoxicated. The driver reportedly struck a house and caused damage to the structure. Nobody was home at the time of the crash.

4:35 a.m.: Santiago Pascual Vasquez, 20, of the 2900 block of South Washington Avenue in Sedalia, was arrested in the 1500 block of South Osage Avenue on a charge of destruction of property for breaking to car mirrors.

12:33 p.m.: Melanie Lynn Swenson, 32, no address given, was arrested in the 400 block of South Quincy Avenue, was charged with first degree tampering of a motor vehicle.

7:36 p.m.: Carl Nunn McCallum, 49, of the 1300 block of South Ohio Street, was arrested near the intersection of West 12th Street and South Osage Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

8:27 p.m.: Joshua X-Avier Zuniga, 22, of the 1200 block of Park Avenue, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

April 16

12:13 a.m.: Antonio Javon Macon, 28, of the 900 block of South Merriam Avenue in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Montgomery Avenue on charges of driving while intoxicated with a prior offense and driving with a revoked license.

Arrests

April 13

11:35 p.m.: Eric W. Barnes, age unknown, of Knob Noster, was arrested in Green Ridge on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and tampering with evidence.

Arrests

April 15

1:48 a.m.: Bryce M. Rohrer, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, cut in on overtaken vehicle and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.

4:35 a.m.: Itzel Sanchez, 21, of Marshall, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash.

7:50 p.m.: Andrew A. Burton, 22, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, three counts of driving with persons under the age of 17, displaying the license plates of another person, no insurance, no valid drivers license, and three counts of juveniles not in proper booster seats.

8 p.m.: Steven A. Dodson, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested in Henry County on charges of possession of methamphetamine, driving with a suspended license, two felony warrants out of Saline County and a misdemeanor warrant out of Saline County.
