Two young Sedalians were arrested Friday afternoon in connection with shooting at a vehicle earlier that day.
According to a Pettis County Sheriff’s Office news release, around noon Friday deputies responded to the 2900 block of South Washington Avenue for a report of shots being fired. Upon arrival they found an unoccupied white four-door Mercedes Benz with several bullet holes.
Following an investigation into the incident two suspects were identified and later taken into custody approximately two hours after the reported incident — Ezra S. Cowen, 18, and Keegan R. Webner, 17. Both are at the Pettis County Jail pending the filing of formal charges.
Formal charges were not available at press time.
