S-C volleyball players named All-WCC

Four members of the Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers volleyball team were selected for the 2015 All-West Central Conference team. Four memebers of Smith-Cotton’s West Central Conference championship volleyball team have been named all-conference.

Courtney Koetting, Montana Hedrick and Bailey Curry were named First-Team All-WCC while Tori Jacobi was an honorable mention.

Koetting had 235 kills and a .411 efficiency rate. She had 406 assists and led the team with 65 aces.

Hedrick had 218 kills and 31 aces with an efficiency rate of .341. She also had 29 blocks.

Curry had 149 kills and a .184 hitting efficiency, 23 blocks, 27 aces and led the team with 262 digs and a .196 pass rate.

Jacobi had 297 assists and 74 kills. She also had 163 digs, 23 blocks and 28 aces.

The Lady Tigers (26-2-1) will play Willard in the sectional at Willard on Saturday with a chance to face either Ozark or Republic.
