Sacred Heart third at Eldon
Gremlins boy’s golf shot a team total of 232 to place third at Eldon Golf Course in Eldon on Tuesday.
Teagan Trammell was Sacred Heart’s low man, shooting a 56 over nine holes. Brian Oster followed two strokes behind.
Eldon won the event with a team score of 177. Eugene was runner-up at 208.
Lincoln wins Windsor match at Clinton
Facing conference opponents in Cole Camp, Stover and match hosts Windsor at Clinton Country Club in Clinton, Lincoln boy’s golf placed first Tuesday with a team score of 167.
Bo Kroenke was medalist, firing a 36. Boone Kronke was runner-up with Stover’s Brendan Bauer, finishing with 38s.
The Bulldogs placed second as a team at 203. Windsor finished with 217 and Cole Camp carded a 237 team total.
Ben Moser had the low score for Windsor, shooting a 49.
Mason Harding, Matthew Maholovich and Jakob Musgrave competed for Green Ridge. Musgrave carded a 70 and his teammates finished with 72s.
HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL
Northwest 9, Lincoln 6
Mustang pitchers Connor Tichenor and Rylan Chamberlin split pitching duties Tuesday to deliver Lincoln its first loss of the season, 9-6 in Lincoln.
The two combined for four RBIs and joined Chandler Crosswhite as players with a pair of RBIs. Crosswhite doubled to tie the game in the fifth.
Northwest broke a 5-5 tie with a 4-run seventh inning. Chamberlin singled home Garren Powell, while Tanner Killion and Baron Austin followed with a single and sacrifice fly, respectively.
Knob Noster 11, Sherwood 3
After a scoreless first, the Panthers plated runs in six consecutive frames of an 11-3 victory against Sherwood in the Holden Tournament on Tuesday.
Caleb Rinker got the win, limiting Sherwood to two runs on one hit and five walks. He struck out six.
LATE MONDAY RESULTS
Stover 23, Climax Springs 1
Stover pitcher Ruben Rubio, in his first varsity start of the season, pitched five innings of a 23-1 victory over Climax Springs on Monday.
HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL
Lincoln 10, Northwest 0 (F/5)
Sloan Swearngin pitched a shutout and the Lincoln offense scored in every frame but one in a 10-0 home victory over Northwest.
Paige Kahler, Genesis Smith and Aleah Paxton had multi-hit games. Kahler and Paige Bybee scored two times each.
Windsor 4, Bunceton 3 (F/9)
The Lady Greyhounds fended off Bunceton, 4-3, after two extra innings Tuesday at Jennies Field in Warrensburg.
Jordan Quick and Devyn Williams accounted for two runs in the first frame.
Quick drove in Dharma Gilmore in the fifth.
Bunceton tied the game at two in the second and at three in the seventh.
Williams batted in Deja Scott for the go-ahead run.
Riley Rollins struck out 13 batters in the circle for Windsor.
Windsor hosts Sacred Heart 5 p.m. Thursday.
LATE MONDAY RESULTS
Windsor 19, Butler 9 (F/5)
Ashley Ebeling and Riley Rollins teamed up in the circle to help Windsor beat Butler, 19-9, on the road Monday.
Ebeling, Rollins, Devyn Williams and Randi Renno each doubled in the game. Carmyn Johnson hit a 3-RBI triple in the fifth and had the winning score in an 11-run fifth inning.
La Monte 13, Crest Ridge 1 (F/5)
Maya Martin surrendered one run on five hits Monday at Crest Ridge during a 13-1 La Monte victory.
The Lady Vikings recorded its first game without an error.
Maleiah Parker went 3-for-4 with singles and three runs scored. Eleanor Oehrke was 4-for-4 with three hits and a walk.
Green Ridge 16, Bunceton 1
Madison Billingsley collected four RBIs in a 16-1 Green Ridge win against Bunceton.
Merry Allen went 3-for-4 with a triple and two singles.
Emily Dove was 3-for-3 and homered for the third time this season.

Smith-Cotton 7, Warrensburg 1
Jessica Coble scored four goals for Smith-Cotton in a 7-1 victory at Warrensburg.
Brianna Pollitt, Marilyn Ream and Marta Treuner rounded out the scoring with one goal apiece.
Ream, Pollitt, Carin Whittall, Kiara Williams and Annie Guier logged assists.
Smith-Cotton (6-4, 4-1 WCC) begin the Kickapoo High School Lady Chiefs Shootout 7 p.m. Thursday, facing Kickapoo in Springfield.

Smith-Cotton downed by O’Hara
David Cho, No. 1 for Smith-Cotton, won the only match of the day against O’Hara as the Tigers fell, 8-1.
Cho defeated Justin House in singles, 8-2.
Cho and Matthew Tilley lost 8-4 to House and Kyle Echart in doubles.
Tilley fell 8-6 in singles to O’Hara No. 2, Ian Kimbrell. Jered Baker and Jack Geary each lost singles matches, 8-6.
COLLEGE BASEBALL
Kansas City Kansas Community College 6, State Fair Community College 5
The Roadrunners lost at Kansas City Kansas Community College on a walk-off sacrifice fly Tuesday, 6-5.
Josiah Imhoff left after six innings, allowing five runs on seven hits.
Derek Shikles drove in two runs with a double and Chase Swisher finished with three hits.

Mineral Area College 10, State Fair Community College 3
The Lady Roadrunners were out-hit 28-16 as Mineral Area College swept a Tuesday doubleheader over SFCC in Sedalia.
Emily Ross survived seven innings of pitching in game two, while MacKenze Gudde and Madison Harris split time in the circle for State Fair.
