This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

Feb. 14

9:21 p.m.: Sheleeta M. Hernton, of the 1400 block of East Broadway Boulevard in Sedalia, was arrested in the 300 block of West Fifth Street on a charge of driving while intoxicated after striking a parked vehicle.

Feb. 17

2 p.m.: Lori A. Seiber, 48, of Merriam, Kansas, and Kimberly L. German, 44, of Sedalia, were issued a summons to appear in court on a charge of disturbing the peace in the 400 block of Buckner Court after witnesses said the two were fighting each other.

Feb. 18

2:10 a.m.: Lynn Brandi Rockett, 38, of the 30600 block of Ball Road in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of East 11th Street and Lamine Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated after colliding with a parked vehicle.

10:34 a.m.: Cody Lee Morrison, 38, of Halfway, was arrested in the 3800 block of South Limit Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

3:15 p.m.: Adrianna R. Martin, 19, and Jonathan Lee Paul Perry, 21 were arrested st their residence in the 200 block of East Second Street in Sedalia, on a charge of third-degree assault violence. Martin was also charged with destruction of property after the couple fought with each other. Both suspects exhibited marks on their necks.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Office

Arrests

Feb. 18

1:04 p.m.: Malik Stephon, age unknown, of La Monte, was arrested near the intersection of South Oak Street and Hammons Street in in La Monte on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to stop at a stop sign.

Feb 19

2:10 a.m.: Dustin Sattler, of La Monte, was placed in 12-hour protective custody for being too intoxicated after deputies responded to a call of a suspicious person.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

Feb. 18

12:40 a.m.: Robert A. Gullett, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on right half of roadway.

12:48 a.m.: Jared N. Sutton, 42, of Sedalia, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, no valid operators license and speeding.

2:35 a.m.: Spencer T. Needy, 21, of Green Ridge, 21, was arrested in Pettis County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

6:10 p.m.: Thomas Blakeman, 41, of Lincoln, was arrested in Benton County on charges of possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding Benton County warrant for a misdemeanor.

6:10 p.m.: Sarah J. Counts, 28, of Lincoln, was arrested in Benton County on charges of felony possession of Methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor of drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 19:

12:03 a.m.: Samantha R. Jacobs, 29, of Sedalia, was arrested in Saline County on charges of felony a controlled substance (heroin), driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and a lane violation.

2 a.m.: Jennifer L. Modrall, 36, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
