The freshman class’ float from Sacred Heart embodies the theme of “Destination, Homecoming,” with their take on the 1933 movie “King Kong,” The school’s Gremlin mascot towers over New York City. Each class created a float for the parade. The entire SHS student body attended the parade Friday afternoon. After the parade the students returned to the school gym for a pep assembly.

The team 3-3, will face Albany for their homecoming match up Friday night at 7 p.m. at Tiger Stadium.

The band is comprised of students in grades seven through 12 and is under the direction of Nancy Edwards. The band was playing the Notre Dame Victory March, arranged by Paul Lavender, which is the school song of Sacred Heart.
