Sedalian injured in vehicle crash

A Sedalia resident was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 6:50 a.m. Thursday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Tia M. Shane, 20, was driving west on state Route HH at Tanglenook Road as his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and impacted a field entrance.

The vehicle became airborne and overturned three times before coming to rest on its wheels.

Shane, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center with moderate injuries.

Versailles woman injured in Moniteau

A Versailles woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 3:05 p.m. Thursday in Moniteau County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Kimberli D. McGinnis, 54, was driving west, 60 feet west of state Route CC North Junction, when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

McGinnis, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City with minor injuries.
