
Members of the Sedalia Fire Department spread Oil-Dry to absorb the gas and oil from a four-vehicle, chain-reaction accident that occurred at South Limit Avenue and Liberty Park around noon Thursday. The SFD, Sedalia Police Department and Pettis County Ambulance District responded to the scene. SPD Officer Andrew Silvey said there were three non-serious injuries caused when a “northbound Chevy Malibu stopped to make a left turn onto Liberty Park.” A Jeep behind the Malibu stopped, but the Dodge Caravan behind it ran into the the rear of the Jeep, causing it to hit the Malibu. A vehicle behind the Caravan also was involved in the accident.
