Sept. 4
Noon: Katrina F. Wentworth, 29, of Windsor, was arrested in the 200 block of East 13th Street on a charge of private peace disturbance. Officers responded to a report of a female throwing bricks and rocks breaking out car windows and threatening people. The victim said the suspect called her and asked her to come to the residence in the 200 block of East 13th Street and pick up the suspect’s children from the suspect’s husband, the children’s father. When the victim arrived, she explained to the suspect that by law she was not allowed to take the children. The suspect started yelling and threatened the victim with a screwdriver, then started breaking out windows of the vehicle. The victim said she was concerned for her safety and called police. SPD dispatch received several calls about the incident before officers arrived. The report states that as of Oct. 1, 2014, 22 calls for service have been made for the residence, ranging from animal abuse, domestic assault, a fire, and noise complaints.
Incidents
Sept. 12
12:57 p.m.: A man reportedly tried to pay for a grill with a counterfeit bill at a business in the 4400 block of Wisconsin Avenue. An officer made contact with a witness to the incident who said when she told the suspect the bill was counterfeit, it angered him. The suspect then grabbed the bill and left the store. Another witness said the suspect was driving a newer-model Volkswagen bug, possibly light gray or blue. There is one suspect in the case.
Sept. 13
8:29 a.m.: A victim reported her Galaxy Note 4, valued at $700, was stolen at a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

Sept. 13
2:41 p.m.: Yusniel P. Canto, 32, of Louisville, Kentucky, was arrested in Saline County on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
2:53 p.m.: Haley N. Piers, 20, of Kansas City, was arrested in Saline County on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (narcotics) and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
