The Sacred Heart Lady Gremlins placed first at the California Tournament on Tuesday against an 8-team field of 35 golfers in California, Missouri.
Claire Sobaski fired a 92 to earn tournament medalist honors. Abby Smeltzer was fourth place with a score off 99 and Anjanae Williams was fifth place at 102.
Julianna Bourgeret tied for tenth place, shooting a 107. Noelle Sunnarborg shot an 18-hole score of 110.
The Lady Gremlins tee it up again Thursday, Sept. 15 at Indian Foothills Golf Club in Marshall in a tri-match with Marshall and Green Ridge.

LATE MONDAY RESULTS
Odessa 5, Knob Noster 4
The Lady Panthers lost its third team match of the season Monday against Odessa in Knob Noster.
Knob Noster split singles with Odessa 3-3. Alex Allen, Jessica Yates and Elizabeth Eccleton – the Lady Panthers top three – winning matches.
Allen and Yates defeated Jordan Ashley Guinn and Lauryn Adams in doubles 8-2, but Odessa won the final pair of doubles matches 7-9, 6-8.
Knob Noster is 6-3 and 6-0 in conference play.

Cole Camp 2, Lincoln 0
The Lady Bluebirds earned its first win of the season 25-12, 25-18 over Lincoln on Tuesday.
Alyssa Oelrichs had five kills and 10 assists. Bailey Heimsoth led the team with seven kills and six digs. Maddi Cook had four blocks.
Cole Camp (1-4) hosts La Monte at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Versailles volleyball (8-1-2) defeated Cole Camp 25-16, 25-23 Monday at home.
Brooke Edgar had 12 kills, nine digs, four blocks and three aces. Taralee Edgar led the Tigers with 24 assists and added seven digs and a pair of aces. Tessa Edgar had 10 kills, seven digs and five blocks.
Mareena Belinski had three kills, four digs and two blocks. Versailles JV lost 21-25, 23-25 and the Lady Tigers freshmen won 25-12, 25-22.
Versailles faced Southern Boone on the road Tuesday.

Sacred Heart 2, Green Ridge 0
Sebastian Aguero made a diving save on an early penalty kick, effectively silencing the Tigers offense in a 2-0 Sacred Heart victory on the road Tuesday.
Teagan Trammell scored the first Gremlins goal on a penalty kick. Sergio Guerra scored from 18 yards out in the second half.
The loss is Green Ridge’s second of the season, and the first game the Tigers have been shut out. They face La Monte on the road Friday at 5 p.m.
Sacred Heart travels to Jefferson City to face Helias at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
LATE MONDAY RESULTS
Green Ridge 7, Smithton 0
Four goals from Jordan Dillon led Green Ridge to a 7-1 road victory over Smithton on Monday.
Luis Gonzalez, Eric Ray and Alex Rebikh scored one goal apiece during Tiger goalkeeper Keaton Gibbs’ third-straight shutout.
The Green Ridge and Smithton junior varsity match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Smithton hosts Stover 5 p.m. Thursday. Green Ridge faces La Monte on the road Friday at 5 p.m.
Cole Camp 1, Calvary Lutheran 0
Nikolay Timoshchuck provided the match’s only goal Monday in a Cole Camp 1-0 victory over Calvary Lutheran in Jefferson City.
Cole Camp (2-1) continued its road trip Tuesday at Dixon.
La Monte 9, Columbia Independent 5
Kieran Rich scored twice to break a 4-4 tie in the second half, and had four goals total to lead La Monte over Columbia Independent 9-5 on the road Monday.
Serafin Lemus scored twice, while Charlie Fletcher, Juan Fernandez and Gavin Johnson scored one goal each.
Jesus Hernandez had two saves in the victory.
La Monte (1-5) hosts Green Ridge 5 p.m. Friday.

After a rain delay Friday rescheduled Cole Camp and Cuba, the Bluebirds throttled to a 36-8 halftime lead and 46-8 road victory.
