Sept. 5
5:46 a.m.: Clayton Daniel Alcorn, 53, of the 1300 block of West 10th Street, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Harrison Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated. An officer conducted a traffic stop for disobeying a stop sign and improper lane use. The investigation revealed the driver was in an intoxicated condition and was arrested.
6:36 p.m.: Jesse R. Smith, 49, of Sedalia, was arrested in the 100 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing. Witnesses said he reportedly stole $3.33 worth of consumable goods from a business.
Incidents
Sept. 2
4:16 a.m.: A softball bag, bats, gloves and softballs, valued at more than $900, were reported stolen from the back of a locked vehicle parked at a residence in the 2000 block of East 15th Street.
Sept. 5
12:16 p.m.: All four tires on a vehicle in the 1800 block of East Broadway Boulevard were reported damaged and the gas tank was reported damaged as well, causing an estimated $500 in damage.

Sept. 4
8:30 p.m.: Natalie J. Vincent, 30, of Ballwin, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated, lane violation and failure to place vehicle at far right when not in motion.
9:49 p.m.: Stacy L. Smelcer, 41, of Versailles, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated and lane violation.
Sept. 5
12:51 p.m.: Ernesto Fuentes, 29, of California, Missouri, was arrested in Moniteau County on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
