Deer causes Benton wreck
A Lincoln woman sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday in Benton County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Allison F. Bellows, 44, was driving south on state Route B, one-tenth of a mile south of Seven Bridges Road, when she swerved to avoid a deer that ran onto the road. Her vehicle traveled off the road, overturned multiple times and struck a fence, coming to rest on its top.
Bellows, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Eagle Air Ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for her injuries.
