June 13 Crash Reports

Four people were injured in a two vehicle accident at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Johnson County.

Bonnie L. Hatfield, 72 years old from Oskaloosa Kansas, was driving a vehicle westbound on U.S. Highway 50 east of County Road NW 361.

A second vehicle driven by Dennis D. Campbell, 67 of Williamson, Texas was traveling in the same direction as the vehicle driven by Hatfield when the vehicle driven by Campbell began slowing to make a right turn onto County Road NW 361 and was struck by the vehicle driven by Hatfield according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Hatfield refused treatment at the scene for minor injuries. A passenger in her vehicle, Eileen E. Smith, 69, of Rolla, was transported to Lee’s Summit Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance district.

Campbell was transported to Research Medical Center by JCAD for treatment of minor injuries. A passenger in his vehicle, Lois J. Campbell, 77, of Williamson, Texas was also transported by JCAD to Research Medical Center for moderate injuries.

Reports indicate all four individuals were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
