JCPenney hosts grand re-opening Friday in Sedalia

Local store introduces Sephora, renovated hair salon
The Sedalia JCPenney celebrated the store’s recent renovations and grand re-opening with a ribbon cutting Friday morning. Over the last three months the store added a Sephora cosmetics section, renovated the store and renamed the hair salon. From left, K.C. Agin, manager of The Salon by InStyle, Don Lambertz, store manager, and Caitlin Fischer, Sephora beauty manager, cut the ribbon while Sedalia Mayor Stephen Galliher and Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Angie Thomas look on. “This is a tremendous opportunity for our city,” Lambertz said. “We’re one of seven (smaller) stores in the whole nation that’s getting (Sephora), and we’re the first one opened.”
