Baxter Mays had a bases-clearing double in the fourth inning Tuesday to give Smith-Cotton a 4-run lead en route to a 7-5 victory.
Jayce Simoncic picked up the win and Tyler Abney the save.
The Tigers 16-3 on the season.
Sacred Heart 22, Stover 2 (F/5)
Easton Webb earned the win allowing one run on two hits and a walk in a 22-2 Sacred Heart victory Tuesday.
Sam Burnett allowed one run on one hit and struck out four in two innings of relief.
Bryan Schlotterbeck and Zac Racy each had 3 hits apiece. Racy had a double and Sclotterbeck had three RBIs.
Sacred Heart plays Cole Camp Thursday on the road at 5 p.m.
HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL
La Monte 15, Green Ridge 5 (F/6)
The Lady Vikings improved to 14-1 with a 15-5 victory Tuesday over Green Ridge.
Madison Harris struck out seven with no walks in the circle for La Monte. She was 3-4 at the plate and scored twice.
Katie Patrick was 3-4 with a triple and a walk. Kameron Morton was 3-3 with two doubles.
La Monte faces Tipton on the road Thursday at 5 p.m.

Lincoln wins tri-match at Sycamore Creek
The Lincoln Cardinals out-shot Stover and Smithton at Sycamore Creek Golf Course in Osage Beach on Tuesday.
Lincoln fired a team score of 176. Stover finished at 211 and Smithton shot a 245.
The Cardinals’ Boone Kroenke was medalist, shooting a 37. Teammate Cody Gregory was runner-up, firing a 43.
