Arrests
April 9
7:50 p.m.: Erika M. Vivone, 18, of the 900 block of East 13th Street, was arrested in the 1100 block of South Limit Avenue on a charge of possession of marijuana. Officers responded to investigate a report of harassment. They located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. They smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and a search revealed marijuana in the vehicle.
9 p.m.: Alexandria M. Guerra, 18, of Cole Camp, was issued a municipal court summons in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for stealing. The suspect reportedly concealed items in her purse at a business and tried to leave without paying.
April 10
12:18 a.m.: Jonathan E. Campbell, 22, of the 900 block of East Sixth Street, and David J. Dotson, 17, of the 700 block of East Fifth Street, were both arrested near the intersection of South Warren Avenue and West 13th Street on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. A traffic stop was conducted after the suspect vehicle tried to evade the officer with careless and imprudent driving. Drug paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle and two of the three subjects were arrested. The third subject was a juvenile and a report has been sent to the Pettis County Juvenile Office.
2:14 a.m.: Eric Ryan James, 30, of Columbia, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Park Avenue on charges of distributing synthetic narcotics, possession of synthetic narcotics, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A traffic stop was conducted for no license plate light. The officer asked to search the passenger and found drug paraphernalia. A search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine, marijuana and more drug paraphernalia.
1 p.m.: Dustin C. Arnold, 18, and Veronica L. Simons, 17, both of Florence, were both issued a municipal court summons in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for stealing. The suspects allegedly left a business without paying for merchandise.
8:24 p.m.: Martavious Keyshaw Thomas, 25, of the 1100 block of East Seventh Street, was arrested at his residence on a charge of third degree domestic assault. The male suspect allegedly assaulted a female at the residence, causing minor injuries.
10:02 p.m.: Austin L. Chadwick, 18, of the 100 block of East Boonville Street, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and Harrison Avenue on a charge of possession of marijuana. Gavin L. Kindle, 18, of Sedalia, was released at the scene with a municipal court summons. A traffic stop was conducted for careless and imprudent driving. The officer was able to smell marijuana coming from the vehicle and a search located a glass pipe used for smoking marijuana. Both Chadwick and Kindle were passengers in the vehicle.
Incidents
April 8
7:35 p.m.: A disturbance with weapons was reported in the 2700 block of Anderson Avenue. Contact was made with two separate groups. One claimed the other pulled a gun on them and vice versa.
April 10
10:53 p.m.: A female victim reported she had been struck several times on and around her head by a known suspect in the 400 block of East Engineer Avenue. The victim reported the suspect was a previous boyfriend.
