Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Gehlken will observe their 60th anniversary Sept. 10.
Ernest Gehlken and Pauline Christian were married Sept. 10, 1955, in the home of Pastor Herschel Allee in Sedalia.
The couple met while working at Beatrice Foods Company in Sedalia. Mr. and Mrs. Gehlken are founding members of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Ths couple have two daughters; Vickie Embree (Ben), of Sedalia, and Jill Fields (Scott), of Katy, Texas; five granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.
